It was early in 1992 when BIO Imaginarte began the task of educating the inhabitants of Mexico about the need to protect and restore the country’s beautiful and diverse environment.

With the well-known mantra, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle in mind, BIO Imaginarte began developing resources to educate and train women in the art of making functional products out of already manufactured materials, reusing pop tops, paper, candy wrappers, tire rubber and plastic billboards.

BIO Imaginarte realizes the value of reusing manufactured materials BEFORE they are processed at a recycling facility. Bypassing this step conserves energy and creates employment at the same time. It doesn’t get much better than that!
