Raised in the heart of environmentally sensitive Vermont, the founder of Vermont Soap Organics, Larry Plesent, grew up among businesses like Ben and Jerry’s, Earth’s Best Baby Food, Gardener’s Supply, Seventh Generation, and Stonybrook Farms, all practicing “capitalism with a conscience”. Through a series of events and epiphanies in his life, Larry came to realize his mission: to make superior soaps that everyone can safely and effectively enjoy in keeping with his environmental values. Utilizing castile soap, a natural detergent substitute, as a product base, Vermont Soap Organics was born!
